VueScan works with the Canon LiDE 50 on Windows and Mac OS X. You need to install a Canon scanner driver to use this scanner on Windows and Mac OS X. Unfortunately, Canon doesn't have a driver for this scanner on Windows x64. This scanner is supported on Mac OS X Lion if you first install the Canon scanner drivers.
