U moet het HP-stuurprogramma installeren om deze scanner op Windows x86 te gebruiken.
U kunt deze scanner gebruiken op Mac OS X en Linux zonder andere software te installeren.
Op Linux moet je libusb-beveiligingen installeren.
VueScan maakt met deze scanner gebruik van in-scanner JPEG compressie om sneller te scannen. U kunt dit uitzetten door 'Input |' Fijne modus' in te stellen.
