Scanning documents
This chapter covers scanning documents — single pages, multi-page PDFs, double-sided originals, and OCR.
Recommended starting settings
- Input | Media → B/W text for printed text, Color for forms with color or photos.
- Input | Scan resolution → 300 dpi for normal documents, 400–600 dpi for documents you’ll OCR.
- Output | PDF file → on. Multi-page PDF combines pages from a feeder into a single file.
