VueScan works with the Minolta Scan Dual III on Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.

If you're using Windows and you've installed a Minolta driver, VueScan's built-in drivers won't conflict with this. If you haven't installed a Windows driver for this scanner, VueScan will automatically install a driver.

You can use this scanner on Mac OS X and Linux without installing any other software.

If you have problems with this scanner hanging, try replacing the USB cable with a newer USB cable, preferably a shorter one. This scanner came with a low-quality USB cable, and is also sensitive to USB timing on faster computers.

If you have an iPad, iPhone, Android phone/tablet or Kindle Fire, you can use VueScan Mobile with WiFi scanners or the built-in camera to scan documents.
